The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners has determined that the preservation of water resources in the County is critical to the public health safety and welfare. Unmanaged stormwater runoff causes water quality degradations, erosion, sedimentation and flooding; and may also prevent recharge to the aquifer, our source of potable water. The Gadsden County Stormwater Policies and Procedures Manual establishes standards to manage stormwater runoff and conserve the water resources of the County while allowing landowners reasonable use of their property and promoting Best Management Practices.
