Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners established an Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) to counsel and advise the County concerning current housing programs. This committee also participates in the review of bids submitted by contractors regarding housing rehabilitation programs that utilize SHIP funds. The AHAC meets quarterly, and then makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding specific initiatives to encourage or facilitate affordable housing initiatives for lower income persons.
Meeting Times
Quarterly, the first Tuesday in January, April, July and October at 10:00 a.m. or on an as need basis.
