Protecting Gadsden County's Animals, Residents and Visitors 

The mission of Gadsden County Animal Control is to improve animal and human well-being education, prevention, and humane animal care and control services for our citizens and animals of Gadsden County.

Hours of Operation:

Office:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow after hour pickups.
Closed holidays.

Animal-related emergency service is available by calling the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at 850.875.8811. Gadsden County Animal Control encourages residents to only use this service in case of dangerous or aggressive dogs, sick or injured domestic animals, animal cruelty or animal bites. Call St. Francis Wildlife Association at 850.627.4151 should you encounter injured wildlife.

Picking Up Lost Pets
Pets that need to be returned to the owner can be by visiting the shelter or by calling:
850-875-8658.

Fees:
Pickup charge
adult dog $35
puppies $10 per puppy

After-hours pickup charge $50.00
Kennel Fees $7.50
Trap Fees $25  
Animal Disposal $15

Checks should be made payable to the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners
