Comprehensive Plan
The County Comprehensive Plan (Plan) is a blueprint, adopted by the BOCC, to guide economic growth, development of land, resource protection, and provision of public services and facilities in Gadsden County. The Plan implements the community's vision through a series of Plan Elements that provide a framework for development to maintain and achieve the quality of life desired by residents and business owners like yourself. The Future Land Use Map provides for the distribution of land uses by adopting a land use category for each parcel of property in the County (e.g. Rural Residential, Agricultural, Industrial, Commercial, Public, Mining, Recreational, Historical and Silviculture).
