GADSDEN COUNTY COMMISSIONER ALONZETTA SIMPKINS DISTRICT 2 COMMUNITY MEETING IN HAVANA RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 17

 

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- - Gadsden County Commissioner Alonzetta Simpkins will host a community meeting to discuss county efforts in District 2 and throughout the County. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Mt. Zion A.M.E Church in Havana. 

“This community meeting is open to all, new and old District Two constituents.,” Commissioner Simpkins said. “Citizens questions and feedback are not just welcomed, but they are needed to help me work better for you. Our County Department heads will be in attendance to provide updates on issues important to District Two. Please come out on October 17 and have your voice heard. I eagerly look forward to hearing from you.”

This meeting will allow residents to learn more about the County, voice their concerns and opinions, or ask questions regarding current County initiatives, projects, and the future of Gadsden County.

County staff from Public Works, Planning, Building, housing, Economic Development, and Human Resources will provide project updates.

The District 2 Community Meeting will take place.
