WHERE: Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Chamber

 

The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners will host their first fiscal year 24/25 public budget hearing 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Chamber at 9-B E. Jefferson Street, Quincy.

This hearing may be viewed by accessing the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners Website at:  www.gadsdencountyfl.gov.

 

The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners welcomes and encourages public participation at all Budget Public Hearings. Citizens can speak for up to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items. Public comments and participation are also encouraged for items on the agenda.

 

Also, if you cannot attend a meeting in person, comments from the Public can be submitted via email to CitizensToBeHeard@gadsdencountyfl.gov by noon on the meeting date. Comments submitted after the deadline but before the meeting will be added to the official record; however, the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff will have adequate time to review comments before the meeting.

 

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing assistance in obtaining any information from the County or virtually attending the public meeting should contact Gadsden County Public Information by calling 850-875-8671 or emailing media@gadsdencountyfl.gov at least 2 hours before the meeting.

 

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Board of County Commissioners regarding any matter considered at such a public meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings. For this purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence to which the appeal is to be heard.
