The Public Information Office provides information about county government and services to residents and the media. Public Information works to promote Gadsden County’s brand and image while keeping the community informed through website development, media releases, media relations, e-news and print publications, and social media oversight.

GADSDEN COUNTY HOLIDAY CLOSURES AND SERVICE CHANGES FOR THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY

 

GADSDEN COUNTY, FL- -The following holiday closures and service changes will occur in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

Closed Monday, September 2, 2024

  • Gadsden County offices
  • Gadsden County libraries
  • Gadsden County Public Works
  • Gadsden County Mosquito Control
  • Gadsden County Animal Control

Remain Open for the Holidays

Gadsden County Parks

Animal-related emergency service is available by calling the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at 850.875.8811. Gadsden County Animal Control encourages residents to only use this service in case of dangerous or aggressive dogs, sick or injured domestic animals, animal cruelty or animal bites. Call St. Francis Wildlife Association at 850.627.4151 should you encounter injured wildlife.
