GADSDEN COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL PARTNERS WITH GADSDEN HORSEMEN ASSOCIATION TO HOST 6TH ANNUAL BIG BEND RODEO
GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- -Celebrate the western heritage of the Big Bend with the Gadsden Horsemen Association and the Gadsden County Tourist Development Council (TDO) at the 6th Annual Big Bend Rodeo on Friday, August 23, and Saturday, August 24, at the Gadsden Horsemen Association Arena in Quincy; gates open on 6 p.m. The Rodeo starts at 8 p.m. nightly.
“We want to give all members of the community and visitors in town for the Rodeo an opportunity to come out and enjoy a family fun-filled event,” TDC Chairman Carolyn Ford said. “This weekend promises to be something special for everyone, a true celebration of our community’s spirit and togetherness.”
This is the 6th Annual Big Bend Rodeo hosted by the Gadsden Horsemen Association. The Association is dedicated to horsemanship, community, and fun. The club hosts Hunter, Western, Ranch, Speed, and Rodeo riding events throughout the year. It is all about enjoying family fun, making new friends, and gaining a deeper love for all things horse.
The Rodeo will have all the standard events, including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, and team roping.
Tickets will be $15, and children four years and under are free, making it an affordable and enjoyable event for the whole family.
