Citizens Requesting to be Heard on Non-Agenda Items (3-minute limit)
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners welcomes and encourages public participation at all meetings of the Board. Citizens are free to speak for up to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items. Public comments and participation are also encouraged for items on the agenda.
Additionally, if you are unable to attend a meeting in person, comments from the Public can also be submitted via email to CitizensToBeHeard@gadsdencountyfl.gov until noon on the date of the meeting. Comments submitted after the deadline, but prior to the meeting, will be added to the official record, but the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff will have adequate time to review comments prior to the meeting.
Citizens are further encouraged to participate on the County’s website. The Board’s meetings are also broadcast live on the Board’s Facebook page.

WORKSHOP NOTICE
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Workshop to Discuss the 911 Call System on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
The Workshop will be held in the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Chambers at 9 B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351.
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners welcomes and encourages public participation at all Board meetings. Citizens can speak for up to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items. Public comments and participation is also encouraged for items on the agenda.

Comments submitted after the deadline but before the meeting will be added to the official record. Still, the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff will have adequate time to review comments before the meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing assistance in obtaining any information from the County or virtually attending the public meeting should contact Gadsden County Public Information by calling 850-875-8671 or emailing media@gadsdencountyfl.gov at least 2 hours before the meeting. If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at such public meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence to which the appeal is to be heard.
