The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners and Gadsden County School Board will host an intergovernmental workshop at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Chambers, 9-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy.
The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners welcomes and encourages public participation at all workshops of the Board. Citizens can speak for up to three (3) minutes on non-agenda items. Public comments and participation are also encouraged for items on the agenda.
Additionally, if you cannot attend a meeting in person, comments from the Public can also be submitted via email to CitizensToBeHeard@gadsdencountyfl.gov until noon on the date of the workshop. Comments submitted after the deadline but prior to the workshop will be added to the official record. However, the County cannot guarantee that Commissioners and staff will have adequate time to review comments before the meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing assistance in obtaining any information from the County or virtually attending the public meeting should contact Gadsden County Public Information by calling 850-875-8671 or emailing media@gadsdencountyfl.gov at least 2 hours prior to the meeting.
If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at such public meeting, he/she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence to which the appeal is to be heard.
