GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- - The Earlene Clemons Chandler Bridge Renaming Ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, at 11 a.m., has been rescheduled. The ceremony will now take place Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners will be joined by family and friends of the late Earlene Clemons Chandler Bridge at a bridge renaming ceremony at the bridge located over Attapulgus Creek in the Jamieson Community.

The Southwest Lane of Highway 159 Salem Road between Jameison Road and Pt. Milligan Road will be closed for the ceremony. A pilot vehicle will escort traffic through the Northeast Lane.
